Hal Bert (1881?-1956), English music hall, revue and pantomime comedian, variously billed as ‘The Filleted Comedian’ and ‘The Elastic Comedian’ on account of his lose-limbed antics, photographed at about the time of his United Kingdom tour on the Stoll Circuit during which he appeared at the Bristol Hippodrome for the week of Monday, 24 November 1913.

Hal Bert, whose real name was Albert White, was married in 1904 to fellow variety artist, Ruth Annie Romah; their son was Hal Bertram White (1915-1975). Hal Bert retired in the late 1930s and died from heart failure on 3 October 1956 at the Dulwich Hospital, East Dulwich, London.
