Florence Bertha Pauline Owens and Kathleen Diana Owens, born respectively in 1907 and 1910, were the daughters of Cyril Charles H. Owens (1886-1958) and his wife, Alice (née Gibson). Pauline and Diana made appearances all over the United Kingdom and were also seen in South Africa. At Christmas 1937 they were booked to play second boy and girl in pantomime for the African Theatre Trust.
