Lulu (sometimes Lu Lu) Louden appeared in a small part during the run of the musical comedy, Dandy Dan, The Lifeguardsman, Lyric Theatre, London, 4 December 1897 to 19 May 1898. She probably spent much of her career on tour, as during 1901/02 in the United Kingdom in The Toreador, a musical comedy originally produced at the Gaiety Theatre, London); and in the United States in 1904 in the farce Glittering Gloria, first produced at Wyndham’s Theatre, London, on 21 July 1903. Miss Louden’s other London appearances were during 1907, in Her Love Against the World, a romantic play produced at the Lyceum on 30 March for 11 performances; and a revival of Hall Caine’s play, The Christian, at the Lyceum, 31 August.
